A charming lacquerware robuchi 炉縁 (sunken hearth frame) adorned with crests depicting diamond flowers encompassed by a circle emblem

A robuchi is a frame used around the sunken hearth 炉 (ro) in a tea ceremony room, designed to house a charcoal fire. Due to its refined finish, it also lends itself beautifully as a decorative wall frame or standalone display piece.
