Large water-basin (suiban) by Heiwadô

Large and heavy light brown patinated bronze footed water basin 水盤 (suiban) with a mottled golden motif. The bowl with stepped concave rings and a nice thin double ribbed rim. From the side down hang three two-tiered open work pendants in the shape of a fish. They hang in front of an open work waterfall design in the base.

Period: Japan – Early Shôwa period (Second quarter 20th century)
In a very good condition with some minor traces of wear. Please look at the photos for a condition reference.
