A sculptural bronze vase signed 華雪 (Kasei)
Price: € 1.400,00
A sculptural bronze vase with a distinctive architectural form.
The body is composed of four vertically arranged, gently convex segments, creating a rhythmic, almost columnar structure. These elements are separated by narrow recessed planes, giving the piece a strong geometric presence. The top features a striking hourglass-shaped opening, subtly textured.
The surface is finished in a rich, naturally variegated green patina, with nuanced tones ranging from olive to turquoise, lending the piece depth and a weathered character. The recessed sections retain a darker tone.
Signed to the underside: 華雪 (Kasei).
Complete with the original wooden tomobako 供箱 (storage box), inscribed on the lid.
