Set of two large fine polychrome gourd shaped Imari vases, marked at the bottom in red: Zo shun tei San po zo, 蔵春亭三保造 made by ZS. Arita ( Ko-Imari ) porcelain.
The vases are decorated with folding fans and floral motives on a deep red ground.

Late Edo period, c. 1850-1880.
Zo shun tei San po zo( 蔵春亭三保造 ) is a brand of Arita porcelain created in 1841 by a businessman Hisatomi Yoshibe, for the export market.
