Very large rotund-shaped porcelain vase with horizontal ribs and a covering underglaze design of overlapping swirls with a canvas pattern on a white ground. Heightened by gold lustre streaks in an overglaze creating a lovely dimension. The swirls continue in a sort of vortex along the vase’s mouth. A beautiful contemporary vase.
Signed at the bottom by the artist.
Period: Late Shōwa period – Heisei period (Second half 20th century).
