Set of three crane garden ornaments
Price: € 2.400,00
An attractive set of three garden ornaments shaped like elegant cranes 鶴 (tsuru), crafted from dark green patinated bronze with red accents and very refined detailing.
Typically placed near a pond or water feature, these cranes enhance the charm of a traditional Japanese garden, often accompanied by stone lanterns or other ornamental elements. They also make a beautiful standalone feature in any garden setting.
The composition consists of one crane gracefully arched downward catching a fish, and two standing tall—one with its beak open, seemingly calling out, and the other with its head turned back and upwards, beak closed.
All three cranes are in a very good original condition with a pleasant patina and minimal traces of age. The feet are detachable, and they stand stable. Please refer to the photos for a clear condition reference.
In Japan, the crane is one of the most auspicious creatures, symbolising good fortune and longevity, said to live for a thousand years.
