Alluring brown patinated bronze okimono 置物 in the shape of a rat sitting comfortably on two symbols of luck and fortune; the magic mallet and the bale of rice belonging to the deity Daikokuten 大黒天. The bronze sculpture has many fine details, like the traditional Buddhist flame on both sides bale of rice, or the keyaki-like wood grain on the mallet.
