Light brown patinated bronze sculpture of a carp jumping from a splashing and rising wave. The fish playfully keeps a ball or pearl high by spewing a fountain.

The bottom marked ‘乾隆年制’, which is an Chinese four characters Qianlong Period mark. Though this piece dates from the
Republic of China period (1912–1949)

Height 40.5 cm, Width 23.5 cm, Depth 14 cm.

It is in a very good condition with a small trace of wear on its belly. Please look at the photos for a condition reference.
