Black ceramic-bodied cloisonné vase

Baluster-shaped ceramic-bodied cloisonné vase with a polychrome design of a pair of peacocks surrounded by bamboo and camellia, on a black enamel fond. Detailed with hand painted golden lines.
The rims are accentuated by a shiny silver glaze.
With a blue sticker at the back reading ‘Fuji shippô’ 富士七宝 (Fuji cloisonné’ware).
Shōwa period (1926-1989).
