Extremely expansive and stunning ornamental handheld fan resembling a peacock. Crafted from wood for its head and body, while its eyes and plumes are intricately carved into the wooden structure. The tail consists of two tiers of paper adorned with slender bamboo rods, adorned with a graceful feather motif. The rear of the body bears an engraved signature stamp on the wooden surface.

In Japan, peacock is linked with a Buddhist divinity (Kannon in Japanese / Guanyin in Chinese, a bodhisattva associated with compassion). It carries the values of kindness, goodness, love, care.
