Fine bronze kettle 釜 (kama) with a ‘mokkô’-shaped bail handle and a wide rim all around its body. This edge is used to rest such a kettle on a portable brazier known as a furo 風炉 to boil the water inside.
The kettle has an overall nice aged patina.
It is in a very good original condition with some superficial traces of rust. Please look at the photos for a condition reference. The kettle has been tested to see if it leaks, but there no leakage.
