Very large Kanji scroll

Very large and striking kakejiku 掛け軸 (hanging scroll) with expressive calligraphy of characters, known as kanji 漢字.
In the top right corner is very sweetly an imprint in red ink of a child’s hand.

Signed and sealed by the artist on the left side.

Sumi 墨 (black ink) on paper. The mounting is made of brown paper with a swirling auspicious design. The jikusaki 軸先 (rod ends) are made of dark brown wood.

It is in a good original condition with some horizontal creases. Some imperfections along the right top corner/edge. Please look at the photos for a condition reference.

Height approx. 181 cm, Width 70.5 cm.
Jikusaki: Diameter 2.6 cm.
Period: Japan – Taishô period (1912-1926).
