Six panel byobu room divider with a a continuous painting of 2 battling samurai warriors on their horses. With a bridge in the background, probably referring to the battle of Uji, near the Uji river in the early 13 th century. In the background a forest in the fog, in a lot of “empty space”. Signed and stamped: Ryutei.
This would present beautiful flat against a wall and be presented as one impressive work of art.
