Rare set of two copper standing screens decorated with stylized embossed paulownia leaves and flowers and a family crest (maru ni mokkö mon – Japanese quince). The screens are relatively small, but probably used against the dust, draft and for privacy.
Taisho – Early Showa period. (Early 20th century)
Height : 53.2 cm.; wide 38 cm.; deep 13.5 cm each screen.
