Nice low four-panel byôbu 屏風 (room divider) with a painting of a luscious flower field. Under the protective branches of a large pine tree 松 (matsu) bloom all sorts of different flora, like red camellia 椿 (tsubaki), white narcissus水仙 (suisen), a white plum tree 梅 (ume) and yellow-white chrysanthemums 菊 (kiku).

The multi-coloured painting set on a silk background. Mounted by two silk borders, a thin greyish blue one, and a broad green and orange one. Protected by a black lacquer frame with its original hardware.

It is in a very good condition. Please look at the photos for a condition reference.

Due to its small size and because the screen is light in weight, the byôbu is very suitable to be mounted flat on a wall and presented as one piece of art.
