An elegant and large two-panel byôbu 屏風 (room divider) with a Rinpa School-style painting of a white and red blooming plum tree 梅 (ume) with long angular branches. Standing in green grass patches.
Signed in the lower left corner ‘Hisashi ga’ 久画.
The multi-coloured painting is set on a silk ground, and is protected by a wooden frame with its original hardware.
It is in a very good condition with some traces of light wear conform age. Please look at the photos for a clear condition reference.
