Unique and very detailed triptych painting of a sword in koshirae, signed Taga Tsunemasa .
Ink and gouache on paper, consisting of three sections, the long painting depicting a famous sword in koshirae, with several inscriptions describing the blade and its mounting.
Written on the left side: Meiwa 8 (1771) in the middle of October, (signed) Taga Tsunemasa.
With a gold foil frame and set inside a red-lacquered wood frame, behind plexiglass.
Dimensions: Image size 123 x 28 cm, Size incl. frame 153.5 x 39.5 cm.
