Black lacquered suit-of-armour (yoroi) with indigo cords (kuro’urushinuri kon’ito nimaidô gusoku).
Iron sixty-four plate sujikabuto helmet with four neck guards (shikoro) and an orange tassel at the back of the helmet. In front of the helmet is a moon maedate, the small fukikaeshi show a family crest of two crossing falcon-feathers inside a circle (maru ni chigai taka no ha mon) in gold lacquer. An open-mouth black facial mask with a separate noose-piece showing the expression of an old man (resseibō) from which hangs a small four piece gorget (nodowa). Small six piece sode protect the shoulders and shinokote with metal plates and Japanese mail over brocade the arms.
A two piece cuirass with metal itazane plates, vertical laced with indigo cords; from the cuirass hangs a six-part five-piece kusazuri-skirt. The cuirass can be carried by a hook at the back. At corners in front and at the back of the cuirass small falcon feathers crests mentioned above. The haidate that protect the upper legs show laced vertical metal plates and consist above of blue brocade. The greaves have vertical metal strips connected with Japanese mail (shinosuneate). With a black suit-of-armour store box.
