Wooden Noh mask of Okina (old man). This the mask of an older male with long white beard expressing wisdom.
The Okina mask takes its origin from the traditional Genryu style of Noh play called “Dance of Monkeys” and it features movable jaw.
This white one is called Hakushikijyo.
With unrecognized seal in relief on the backside. The nose has a small spot where the white lacquer has been damaged. But overall in nice original condition.
