Lovely black lacquered raised display stand 花台 (ka’dai) raised by four curved feet decorated with dark golden hiramaki-e 平蒔絵 (low-relief lacquer design) and takamaki-e 高蒔絵 (high-relief lacquer design) of flowers connected by scrolling foliage (karakusa). Covering the entire top surface and sides.
In a good restored condition with some traces of age and wear, like two restored legs, small lacquer chips and superficial traces of use. For a clear condition reference, please look at the photos.
