Pair of fantastic fully restored red lacquered wooden paper-enclosed temple lanterns 行灯 (andon) with globular lampshades and a move-able copper loop handle. The easily removable shades with delicately shaped ribs. Resting on three concave feet attached to a circular base.
When lit, the fine washi-paper gives a lovely warm glow.
The shade can be completely taken off, this way you were able to light the candle! Now the lamps are equipped with a newly electrified CE-fitting. No lamp bulbs included.

The washi-paper has been completely restored, and the frame itself is in a very good condition. Please look at the photos for a condition reference.
As these paper lamp shades are very delicate, we will make a custom wooden crate for transport.
