Box-shaped brazier

Box-shaped brazier (hibachi), at the outside decorated with small sprinkled pieces of mother-of-pearl inlay work.

At two sides a red brown on a black ground five-leaf ivy crest (tsuta mon) in maki-e lacquer with mother-of-pearl inlayed lines.

With a trivet to support a kettle. In a box.

Taisho Period.
