Refined globular bamboo ikebana 生け花 basket with a warm brown patina.
The rim is made out of broad strips of bamboo, woven in a zigzag pattern. The handle of the basket is made out of two thin bamboo strips loosely overlapping each other a few times. The vaulted body tightly woven with thin strips of bamboo creating symmetrical horizontal streaks. The bottom is equipped with six tiny feet.
The basket is in a very good condition.
