Jōrūri (bunraku) puppet theatre doll of a Sanbasō-dancer in his characteristic dress with embroidered crane bird at the back and pine-tree twigs.

Sanbasō is a dance dedicated to the Enami shrine and is in jōrūri performed with three dolls, Chitose, Okina and Sanbasō, operated by three doll handlers.

The dance is often performed at the beginning of a program of the traditional Japanese puppet theater.
