Large globular wickerwork bamboo ikebana flower basket with a fixed handle made of braided twigs. Executed with broad and smaller light red-brown bamboo strips in vertical, horizontal and crosswise configuration.

Unsigned – but this is a high-end very tightly braided beautiful ikebana basket.

In very good condition and nice patina.

Taisho – early Showa-period.
