The circular panel is inlaid with sections of bone carved in high relief depicting children at play with lanterns, firecrackers, and holding banners, all amongst plantain and trees in a rocky garden before a pavilion.
The wood panel fits into an elegantly pierced shaped wood stand decorated with and openwork shou roundel surrounded by five bats on a scrolling floral ground.
Size of the panel including frame: 43, 5 cm diameter.
ConditionThe panel: a few bone pieces have come slightly off the backing board, a few traces of glue visible.
The frame: with various minor age cracks, a few minor areas restuck; small nicks to the extremities.圓木板: 有些許片骨稍鬆開,可見膠水痕跡.
木架: 有些細舊裂;有些小部分經重新黏合;邊角有小磕.
