Small round gold-leaf lacquered zushi-shrine on a hexagonal stand, at the inside a plain figure of Ganjiten (Sanskrit: Vinayaka), a Buddhist protector particularly venerated in Japanese esoteric Buddhism and visualized in the form of two embracing human figures both with the head of an elephant.

Late Edo – Meiji Period.
